Second Step Wellbeing Events – no need to book

Second Step have two Wellbeing Events this month; this Wednesday, 20 June, is targeted at Bristol Mental Health Service Users, incorporating an Art as a Therapeutic Tool Workshop.  The following Wednesday, 27 June, is specifically for those who care for a friend or relative and there is an Entitlement & Support for Carers Workshop, followed by Mindfulness Practice.

Attendees should be with us by 1.45pm if they wish to attend workshops but there is no need to book for these and they are otherwise free to drop in at any time.  Both events boast a masseuse,  music from Danny, a prize raffle and refreshments. Peer Employability Officer Sophia will be present this Wednesday (20 June) and can provide help and advice about Second Step’s Peer Employability Programme.  All activities are free.

Events are held at The Horsefair Room above The New Room Café in central Bristol.  The entrance to the venue is via the New Rooms Café that is directly opposite the road between Primark and Debenhams on the Horsefair, adjacent to The Arcade.  There is disabled access, including a lift in the café.

Attendees are welcome to bring along support workers or companions.
