On Tuesday 20th October, the Bristol Dementia Action Alliance are hosting ‘Dunk a Donut for Dementia’. You’re invited to gather your friends, family and colleagues together in person (socially distanced) or online and share a cuppa and a donut and donate a small amount to BDAA to support their vital work via their website.
You can also book a place at their free online event that evening at 7.30pm on Zoom to celebrate their achievements in raising awareness of Dementia in the Bristol area. Have another donut ready

About the event:
We are delighted to be joined by Isobel from Alive Activities – who will be talking about Bristol Dementia Charities Network (Alive, BRACE and BDAA) and how we are working together and how we hope to extend that network. We are delighted that Jane who is the co-founder of The Purple Angel Campaign (started 2011) joins us to talk about the very popular MP3 players. Caroline joins from St Peter’s Hospice – all staff and volunteers are having dementia friends sessions (approx 200 now dementia aware). We are so pleased that Darren, Stuart and Ash are speaking about the wristband scheme which is being piloted in Bristol. It promises to be an informative evening.
