The training programme will be offered as a virtual and in-person hybrid, with the first 4 days being delivered on Zoom, and day 5 delivered in-person, in Bristol. HIP is running on 21, 22, 24, 25 and 28 November.
Application submission deadline: 21 October at 9am, they will be assessing applications on a rolling basis so would encourage early applications.
The West of England AHSN has once again teamed up with the leading university business incubator, SETsquared to bring you the HIP. This five half-day personal development course has been running since 2015. The programme brings together a mixture of workshops, lecture content and peer learning. Throughout the programme you will receive high quality coaching, mentoring and personal development support.
The HIP is open for health care innovators and is aimed at those who have a business proposition and are committed to making it happen.
You will have the opportunity to learn core skills in entrepreneurship, learn more about the health sector in the UK and develop skills in the areas of:
- market segmentation and understanding the NHS as a market place
- understanding the all-important problem/solution fit
- choosing revenue models
- understanding an investors view
- evaluating your proposition
- hints and tips on how to pitch successfully
Spaces are available for participants in the West of England, South West, Kent Surrey and Sussex and Wessex AHSN regions. The course is fully funded by the West of England AHSN, but an application and selection process will apply.
Please note, to be considered for the HIP, one application form will need to be completed per applicant and submitted by the deadline outlined above.
