TCF work with Resettling Communities across South Gloucestershire. Our resettlement service offers bespoke 1-2-1, group and community cohesion activities for communities homed in South Gloucestershire; including Hong Kongers, Ukrainians and Refugees from many different countries.
We provide support in the following areas:
- Immigration status and related issues
- Housing related support
- Health and Wellbeing
- Financial stability
- Childcare and Education
- Skills Training and Employment
- Cultural and Community Integration
- Self-dependency
Our resettlement service supports individuals and families to achieve integration and self-sufficiency in their lives in South Gloucestershire; being able over time to independently access local public services, feel at home and connected in their local community, and meet their own needs including housing, health, education and employment.
We have a hub at the YMCA Yate, where a variety of different activities, workshops and events are held. Trips in and around the area are arranged for our communities to help them experience the area in which they have chosen to make their home in.
We also work with people in the asylum hotels helping them to integrate into society when they receive their right to remain.
