Hello and welcome to your monthly update on progress regarding the Adult Community Health Services contract in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
We’re really pleased to welcome Alex Francis to the Sirona care & health mobilisation team. Many of you already know Alex, who works for The Care Forum, and she will be working closely with us to co-design and co-produce with you the VCSE element of the healthcare services contract.
You
may have already seen on the Sirona website that we have an
overview from the slides which were presented by Sirona’s chief executive Janet
Rowse at the meeting in September which outlined our approach to the new
contract. We will be adding to this section in the coming days with Frequently
Asked Questions which we hope will help keep you informed on the next steps and
ways you can be involved. Alex is working closely with Wendy Best, Head of
Communications and Engagement at Sirona and they are liaising regarding the
questions many of you are asking; the FAQ will also be on The Care Forum’s
website.
We
know you have busy diaries so we are planning a calendar of workshops so you
are able to save dates for the co-production work and we will share these with
you as soon as they are confirmed. In the meantime, we are focusing on
gathering as much information as possible about the different VCSE services
which are available.
Many of you have already provided information via email or hard copy about your role within your local communities in Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire or across all three. We are sure you know just how difficult it is to keep this up-to-date as things change so it would be helpful if those of you who are listed on the on the Well Aware website are able to ensure it is up to date.

The
