In November 2018, Bristol became a member of the World Health Organisation’s Global Network of Age-Friendly Communities.
Join Bristol Ageing Better as theylaunch the second in our series of BAB Toolkit publications, this time discussing what can be done to make your neighbourhood more age-friendly. The toolkit provides an easy-to-understand explanation of the age-friendly model, alongside practical ideas for how you can identify and tackle aspects of community life that are challenging for older people.
The launch event will be a chance to meet other budding change-makers, as well as the community activists featured in the guide. You’ll get a free copy of the toolkit itself, as well as the chance to ask any questions you have about how BAB is supporting the long-term age-friendly strategy for Bristol. Refreshments will be provided.
