Bristol: Discussing autism in the Somali community – two events during Healthy City Week

CLAHRC wrote:

We at CLAHRC West have been lucky enough to work with Nura Aabe from Autism Independence on a project to understand the experiences and needs of Somali families with experience of autism.

Nura and Fiona will be presenting this work at two neighbourhood events during Healthy City Week on 15 October at Wellspring Healthy Living Centre and 19 October at J3 Library.

Please find attached a poster / flyer for the event, and a press release which I will be sharing with my media contacts today. This project is generating a lot of interest both locally and nationally, and it’s even being presented to MPs in November!

Everyone is welcome at the discussions, including children. We hope to see you there!
