You are invited to our social prescribing workshop on:
Wednesday 19 October 2016 9.30 – 12.30
Venue: Hamilton House, 80 Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS1 3QY
At our workshop we will discuss:
- The latest developments in Bristol, and nationally.
- Confidence and quality. Would a Bristol Social Prescribing ‘kite mark’ improve confidence and increase referrals from primary care? What sort of ‘kite mark’ would be most suitable?
- Measuring the impact of social prescribing. We will look at the current ones used and discuss alignment of evaluation across all social prescribers in Bristol.
Bristol has a rich variety of social prescribing practices and there is a desire for Bristol to have a more co-ordinated approach, ensuring the best use of our shared assets, share good practice and clarify referral routes.
Bristol Public Health have been supporting a multi-agency short life working group. Its work is focused on developing referral routes from GP practices to social prescribing activities.
