Devolution Proposal: Women, people from BME communities, younger people, disabled people and people who are LGBT are under represented in online consultation

The consultation period closes on 15 August 2016 but to date, women, people from BME communities, younger people, disabled people and people who are LGBT are under represented in online consultation responses to date.

The consultation results will be used for the equality impact assessment so this is where we can capture your ideas and concerns, and the EqIa will be part of the response to Government so there is a real opportunity to influence this process.

The Devolution team will be visiting libraries to promote the consultation and answer any questions. The Library sessions are informal drop-in sessions, the objective is to encourage people to take part in the consultation. The dates and venues are as follows.

Monday 8th August – 11:00-12:00 at Henbury Library

Monday 8th August – 13:30- 14:30 at Filwood Library

Tuesday 9th August – 10:00 – 11:00 at Fishponds Library
