Help needed to support Night Shelters this winter – Bristol

Bristol Churches Winter Night Shelter Programme is being run in support of the rough sleepers outreach programme, that is trying to ensure no one in Bristol needs to sleep outdoors over the coming winter period.

The network of Churches are intending to offer a number of beds for homeless people in Bristol and is looking for logistical support to make this happen.  The churches have identified venues to set beds up, but this will be on a rolling basis across church venues and need support to transport beds, bedding and other kit between venues and other practical support such as help with laundry.  They would be grateful for any support, however small anyone may be able to offer.

If you think you or any of your members are able to help or would like to know more about the project, please contact:  Steve Maslin at the email address:  bristolchurcheswintershelter@gmail.com
