The Peer Partnership’s Coordinators Forum is on 23rd March, 2021. This meeting is for people who are currently, or considering, including peer support in their services. The meetings will give you a chance to network with other coordinators of peer support services, share best practices and experiences, and will include guest speakers who will highlight areas of interest around peer support. Please see below for the agenda for the next meeting.
Following the first meeting in December, it was requested that there was a space for discussion for forum members outside of the meetings themselves. To that end, we have set up a Facebook group for members, where they can pose questions, get to know other services, and make suggestions for future forum activities. You can join the Facebook group by clicking this link.
The Peer Partnership are finalising the agenda for March, and are pleased to say that Nicola Coggins will be presenting an introduction to Carl Rogers and Person Centred Care for our best practice section. We are also looking for someone for our service spotlight section, which is an opportunity for a forum member to highlight their service, and an issue they have encountered that would be a good learning point for other coordinators of peer support services. If you are interested in speaking for this section, please get in touch with us.
Due to the ongoing COVID19 situation, we will be continuing to have these meetings on Zoom until restrictions are lifted, but will look to offer physical meetings in the future.
